About Us
Welcome to the website of the Prince William County, Virginia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. We are proud to be a member of the premiere organization for African American children. This site was created to serve as a resource for members of our chapter, as well as to inform those in the community about our mission, community efforts, and upcoming events.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19. We are dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty.
The Prince William County Chapter follows the goals of the national organization:

To create a medium of contact for children which will stimulate growth and development;

To provide children a constructive educational, cultural, health, recreational and social program;

To aid mothers in learning more about their children by careful study;

To seek for all children the same advantages which we desire for our own;

To support all national legislation aimed at bettering the conditions of all children.
The boundaries for the Prince William County Chapter include the counties of Prince William and Fauquier.
We take tremendous pride in offering quality programming consistent with national initiatives.

Welcome to the Prince William County, Virginia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our website and share a glimpse into the heart of our chapter. Since our founding in 1984 through the vision, dedication, and commitment of our chapter organizer, Associate Jewel Dr. Frances K. Wood, the Prince William County Chapter has proudly served families and our community for more than 40 years.
As Chapter President for 2026–2028, and on behalf of the phenomenal mothers of Prince William County, I am honored to welcome you. Our chapter is rooted in a rich legacy of sisterhood, service, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to nurturing and empowering children. We take great pride in our history, the impact we have made throughout our community, and the tradition of excellence that continues to guide our work today.
For more than four decades, our members have remained dedicated to developing future leaders through meaningful educational, civic, cultural, recreational, and social programming. Together, we have strengthened families and created opportunities for young people to learn, lead, serve, and thrive. Through service, leadership development, and family engagement, we strive to cultivate confident, compassionate, and capable young leaders who are prepared to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
As we continue our journey, we proudly honor more than 40 years of service and sisterhood while building upon the strong foundation established by the visionary mothers who came before us. What makes our chapter truly special is the collective spirit of our mothers, children, and families, united by a shared commitment to excellence and a passion for serving others.
Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to advancing the mission of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. by cultivating the next generation of servant leaders, strengthening community partnerships, and creating experiences that inspire achievement, leadership, and lifelong success.
